The E-Cat Fusion Revolution Continues On, But Without National Instruments’ Participation

For three and a half month or so more National Instruments were a part of the E-Cat fusion experiment, and the result of these relationships is obvious, as the father of the technology, Andrea Rossi, reported the device of his turning out to be “a magnificence” thanks to this partnership. Unfortunately all things must die and even good things come to pass, and that seems to have happened with this partnership as it was terminated. The termination of this relationship was not really caused by anybody’s fault, Rossi reports, but it rather had to do with the choice of the customer, who picked a new supplier for his E-Cat fusion device. And even then their choice was somewhat biased as they had worked with the supplier before and that was the reason they cast their voice for it. So it was more a “for the new supplier” than “against the NI” scenario.

Rossi sounds very grateful for the time spent with the National Instruments: “We have worked very well with N.I., and we have learnt from them very much. We are very grateful to them for all what they have teached to us.” There is also hope that the two will be reunited for some future projects: “…NI is a very good company and, again, we will maintain them in our list of suppliers.” Perhaps a new customer will be interested in picking up this supplier in the future, but for now it’s the “longstanding collaboration” that made the scales dip in favor of the new supplier.

When it comes to the NI, they only shared that “Andrea Rossi currently is not a customer of National Instruments.” This statement does not mean, as some purport, that he never was the customer and never will be. It just means that currently, at this very time, E-Cat fusion is carried out without NI’s participation.
