In a recent interview with Andrea Rossi, the Italian inventor told the Bologna-based Citta del Capo Radio Metropolitana that the theory on how the e-cat technology works will be included in the report he promises to publish once the international patent for the LENR based devices will be granted. A series of 8 videos are currently published for the public to watch where we get significant information from Rossi himself. The challenge is the video is in Italian. The criticisms and skeptics have been writing negative reports in their attempt to discredit Rossi and his work especially with the absence of the e-cat report, which could provide a definitive proof behind the e-cat theory, and the operations of the reactors. In the interview, Rossi divided criticisms into two categories: Scientists paid by competitors and the intelligent skeptics, who are skeptical for example, because he has not yet published the theory.
It should be noted that many people are extremely excited for the publication of the e-cat report, which Rossi promises to publish anytime soon. But how soon? Nobody really knows because Rossi avoids giving specific dates. The e-cat reports that had been published previously were only initial reports, according to Rossi. The final e-cat report is yet to see print.
It can be recalled that Rossi and Focardi believed that energy production was due to transmutation of Nickel into Copper 2 years ago. In the present, many believe that the main effect is the thermalization of low-energy Gamma (50-120 keV) and the transmutation of Nickel into Copper is a side effect. Rossi also highlighted that the main function of the rigorous tests for the high temperature reactors is to answer the question “How much energy?” not “How does it work?”
In the interview, Rossi disclosed to Città del Capo Radio Metropolitana that the approval of the safety certifications for the domestic version of the e-cat device remains the most challenging for the moment. This is the reason why it will take some time for the home e-cat to be made available for home heating purposes. There is only unit that is currently up for sale and that is the 1-megawatt e-cat unit for industrial use.
